+So it turns out there's a lot of games that use the models from Girls' Frontline. The latest one I've found is [Door Kickers 2: Task Force North

+It's pretty good, but again like in Black Ops III it didn't seem like the models actually fit in the game. Like there seems to be this limitation where all models need to be the same height, but that doesn't make sense for Girls' Frontline models since certain dolls are a lot taller or shorter than others?
+
+It almost seems like- Yeah ok, I can't be bothered doing this act again.
+
+After I played BO3 I had a craving for more Girls' Frontline content since I don't really play the actual GFL game for the gameplay... wait that sounds kinda bad - I'm saying I play it for the story... wait don't people also say that when...
+
+But it's the truth! You gotta believe me! I'M NOT A PERVERT!!
+
+Anyway, instead of another FPS I wanted to see if there was an RTS I could play using my favourite characters from the semi-popular gacha game Girls' Frontline.
+
+Unfortunately, I never found a traditional Starcraft-like RTS game with good modding support (if you know one PLEASE let me know) so Door Kickers 2 was the next best thing.
+
+Now with a game picked out, I just needed to find a Girls' Frontline mod - and there was one, it just wasn't really what I wanted. The mod only replaced the heads of existing models, where I wanted a total body conversion. The units it provided where also completely overpowered.
+
+So with no good mod what am I to do?
+

+I have zero modding and 3D modelling experience, so there was a learning curve to work on this. But I'll write a post about this in the future soon, so I'll leave it there.
+
+But back to the game, it's very good. The controls are a little weird at the start, but it's quick to get to grips with. There's also just sooo much content - with Steam Workshop mods and a random map generator, I can see how so many people have put hundreds of hours in this.
+
+It's interesting how close this game is to a "simulator". I've watched a few people play through the game while explaining themselves, and they appear to be use and talk about real Close Quarters Battle (QCB) tactics. Watching actual real-life QCB videos also seems to confirm this.
+
+Because of this, it can be pretty punishing and requires you to do a lot of tactical planning.
+
+I think the biggest limitation with the game as a simulator though would certainly be the AI. They don't seem to come up with their own plans, like moving around and trying to flank you. It feels like the AI have a very simple flowchart they follow, and once you know what is in the flowchart, the game becomes much easier.
+
+Playing co-op is **a lot** of fun. It's always fun to play with your friends and this is no exception. Just having someone else take a few people so you don't have to micromanage an entire 8-person squad can make the game much less stressful, as well as having someone else help come up with plans.
+
+Unless of course, you want to be stressed... In that case, don't play co-op.
+
+The one thing I do wish was added was the ability to sync go codes between players, currently we just 3-2-1 it in voice comms to press the button at the same time, but it'd be nice if we could set it so that when on of us presses it, it presses for both of us.
+
+But yeah, that's all I have to say. There'll be a bigger post on the process of me learning how to make the mod which should be more interesting. Spoilers: many people may not like the methods I used to do this - it starts with "A" and ends in "I" :)
