Three new tests of command lines starting with UTF-8 continuation bytes. Check that they do not corrupt the display, moving to them with the '0' command works, inserting stuff before them works, and moving right past them puts the cursor in the desired place. OK lucas@

Bring this regress into nicer shape. Add all recent architectures. For me it is still unclear what should actually be tested. It runs MAKEDEV, stores the result into an outfile and checks nothing.

Change the high-level FUSE implementation to use the low-level API. Currently, both APIs communicate with the kernel independently.

Favor the CXX variable as opposed of hardcoding c++. Allows one to run regress using a different compiler such as llvm-19 from ports.
