Date Input Widget #3

  • Based on existing text input widget
  • Allows arbitrary text and tries to parse with dateparser
  • If not parsable, show "unparsable" next to the date
  • If parsable, shows parsed date in YYYY-MM-DD format next to the input
    • greyed out (color code 8)
    • does not show parsed date if already in YYYY-MM-DD format
  • <Enter> accepts the input
    • only accepts parsable date
    • returns the date in YYYY-MM-DD format
  • <Tab> changes the input to the parsed date YYYY-MM-DD if available, does nothing if input is not parsable
