This is my personal (hi) dotfiles repo (for now).  I'm kind of weirdly opinionated about what I use, and like to try stuff out and learn, so don't necessarily copy me lol.

## Tools for this repo

I'm using chezmoi to put my dotfiles where they need to go, and jj as my VCS as a test.  This is a temporary state of affairs because I find chezmoi's ergonomics and understandability to be really bad.  It's the best option out there from what I see, and it's pretty bad.  I'm also trying to use nushell for everything because it has a real language and uses real data.  bash is a fallback of last resort for me.

## Goals

There's a few things I want to be able to do more cleanly with this repo than I can right now.
- Updating the brewfile or package list regularly, so it stays current.
- Using the brewfile to make sure my packages available on different machines are aligned.
- Storing some secrets/encrypted files to keep things aligned.
- Scripts and aliases to make it a slight bit easier to use these tools for now.
