searching for issues and/or PRs is also useful, especially issues, to check if something has already been requested before opening a potential duplicate issue (eg https://tangled.sh/@tangled.sh/core/issues/116)

Somewhat related, I wanted to use google with a site: operator like https://tangled.sh/@tangled.sh/core/issues $some $query but it seems that a lot of things aren't indexed.

Even on github, a site targeted google search can be a lot better than the native search.

tangled uses anubis, so don't expect any search engine to index tangled properly

Main author of Anubis here. Anubis allowlists a number of search engines by default (mostly so that Google doesn't bypass Anubis).

However, this is about search WITHIN the Tangled ecosystem. They are able to index things into Bleve or Mellisearch or something directly without having to read HTML files to do that.
