Thanks a lot for putting this together! I think I have a working install now. I struggled quite a lot around coredns, and with a little help from an automated rubber duck (as I tend to know claude by :-) ), I found that my coredns didn't have the records plugin, so I ended up building that. That basically amounted to add
RUN echo "records:github.com/coredns/records" >> plugin.cfg
RUN go get github.com/coredns/records
to the Dockerfile. I'm not sure that's the best solution, but it worked for me, so perhaps it is worth looking in that direction.
