A reply's sources count is a grey chip shaped like the source rows it opens onto, with their corners, padding, and hover, rather than loose muted text, so it reads as something to press. It carries a link icon before the count, a new puffy link drawn to sit with the logo's bubble letters, and its label is medium weight like the source titles. The web UI spec says so.
