session cookie not found when authenticating for the first time #1

after manually creating an empty knit/config.toml, i ran knit auth login, typed my handle then pasted a fresh app password, and was met with this error:

Error: authenticating: session cookie not found
Usage:
  knit auth login [flags]

Flags:
  -h, --help   help for login

This is because Tangled moved to OAuth, so the old app password method no longer works.
