Instlang design workspace #
This directory records the design and implementation of the bounded reference
interpreter. The source brief is
institutional-language-plan.md.
Current status #
The reference core, authored source subset, replay/version machinery, dynamic
mandates, institution chartering and dissolution, addressed interaction, and
generic fungible host ledger are implemented and tested. Nomurgy exercises
these layers through the Founding and Corporate Market scenarios. Economancy's
Scarcity Case remains a sibling application and finite-analysis exercise.
Constitutional proposals, targets, electorates, quorums, and ballots cross
bounded typed artifact envelopes; dynamic definition code and Stage 4 economic
action variants remain at explicit reviewed Json boundaries.
Formal proof and unbounded model checking remain unclaimed. Further language work should be driven by a concrete mutable policy, while broader game and host work is still exploratory.

Stage 2.5 is the playable Nomurgy integration layer. Stage 3 adds bounded
institution interaction through explicit request and delivery; immutable
request authorship is distinct from the administrative deliverer. Stage 4 adds
the isolated corporate-market@1 economic scenario and generic fungible host
ledger. Stage 5 constitutional analysis remains proposed. Economancy remains
an unchanged sibling scenario and future integration target.
The documents use “v1” for the smallest reference language described by
institutional-language-plan.md. Names used in host examples are not core
keywords.
