A first command that puts its own hook before Prowl's (direnv, mise) moved the interrupt hook away from the prefix, so it stayed and reset the exit status at each prompt. The removal now looks in every element of PROMPT_COMMAND, and a hook that stays keeps the incoming status and does nothing after the launch.
