# Contributor License Agreement (CLA)
Version 1.0

Thank you for your interest in contributing to this project (“Project”).
By submitting a contribution to the Project, you agree to the following terms:

## 1. Definitions
- **“You”** means the individual submitting the contribution.
- **“Contribution”** means any code, documentation, or other material submitted to the Project.

## 2. Grant of Copyright License
You grant the Project maintainers and the Project’s owners a perpetual, worldwide,
non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to use, reproduce,
prepare derivative works of, publicly display, sublicense, and distribute your
Contribution as part of the Project under the Apache License 2.0 or any future
version of that license.

## 3. Grant of Patent License
You grant the same parties a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free,
irrevocable patent license to make, use, sell, and distribute your Contribution,
consistent with Apache License 2.0 §3.

## 4. Your Certification
By submitting a Contribution, you certify that:

1. You wrote the Contribution yourself, or the work is based on material you
   have the right to submit.  
2. You have the authority to grant the licenses in this CLA.  
3. Your Contribution is provided under the Apache License 2.0.  
4. Your Contribution does not include code copied from third parties unless it
   is already licensed under terms compatible with Apache-2.0 and clearly marked.  
5. You understand that your Contribution may be publicly distributed and modified.

## 5. No Warranty
You provide your Contribution “as is” without warranties or conditions of any kind.

## 6. Entire Agreement
This CLA is the complete agreement regarding your Contribution, unless you sign
a separate CLA with the Project’s owners.
