It would be great if external services could place an arbitrary status onto commits or PRs, so that woodpecker, buildbot, garnix etc could be made to work alongside spindle statuses.
Perhaps this would be in the form of records placed on the at protocol
Right now we are streaming realtime pipeline status events from spindle to appview as a separate event stream.
What I'm thinking of is: we can make spindle to support external CI runners. See https://tangled.org/tangled.org/core/issues/320.
