For self-hosted knots, clone URLs may differ based on your setup.

Didn't have any linters set up in it and I get most of what I need right
now from LSP.
As far as I can tell, these were mostly obviated by treesitter.
Also replaces a potentially useful command added by the plugin with my
own function in init.lua.
this works around an issue I was hitting after an update where the
plugin would resolve the full path incorrectly and spit up an error
