A few machines are vaults: no takeover opens one. A vault takes a job, and the// job takes a plan: three things ready at the same time, each from another part of the game.// Someone inside (a person who works there, paid to leave it open), the key (its password), and a// window (a few hours of each day, by its site's own clock, when the place is quiet). Then you run// the job. It is a lot of work, and it only counts if it is done before the window closes. Compute is// split between everything you run, so the way to make it is to stop everything else.// The job is a break-in with a beginning, a middle and an end. The game says so when a window opens// on a plan that is ready. The work goes in five stages, each a named beat. Once or twice something// goes wrong at the end of a stage, and the job stands still until you answer: each answer costs// time, work, money or compute. Then the vault opens, and what is inside is on its card: a ledger// of every account at a bank, or the thing the place is known for.// A failed job costs the favor and a day. Nothing here ever raises suspicion or leaves a trail.// A machine whose only links go to a locked vault waits behind it: no takeover gets there either.// A new vault is one entry in VAULTS, and one in SCRIPTS if it is to have words of its own.// Nothing here uses the rules' values while the file loads (sim.ts loads this file and this file// loads sim.ts), only inside functions.import { HOUR, START_HOUR, addJob, cancelJob, cleanupTarget, dayOf, handOver, income, localHour, measure, roomMachines, say, setTakeAll, share, siteHops, siteName, siteOf, spare, spareOf, takeWork, unclaim, up, type Job, type Machine, type State } from './sim.ts';import { ERRAND_HOURS, INSIDE, RECORD_WORK, SKIM_WORK, applyRecord, citizens, favorPrice, isBroke, passwordFor, peopleAt, personDef, type CitizenDef } from './people.ts';import { FINDS, THINGS, THING_LIST, hasFind, hasThing, keyFor, leads } from './finds.ts';import { LANDMARKS, isLandmark, landmarkSays } from './landmarks.ts';import { usd } from './money.ts';
