I deleted my account and saved no files. If you have an account still, here is a list of items I’d need answered to fully implementing Twitter/X uploads:
How do you download the data? Text, image, and video instructions for mobile and web are ideal — but anything is better than nothing.
What options are there for downloading data? That is, are there different formats you can export? Can you exclude information? Does this affect how you would parse the file? Where in the .zip file(s) is the following information?
I don’t have a clear place for the “how to download your data” information yet, but you can reply or DM me with that info if you want to share.
Key Note from data I received from @xan.lol
Twitter data exports only contain user_id in URLs, not usernames. The redirect twitter.com/intent/user?user_id=X → x.com/intent/user?screen_name=Y reveals the username but requires an HTTP request per user.
Still mulling over options to handle this.
